MRI data now available

The raw mngu0 MRI data is now available for download from this site

Following the publication of an JASA-EL paper describing the MRI subset of the mngu0 corpus, we have now made this raw data available for download from this site. Just to summarise, this data comprises three separate downloadable packages:

  1. Static 3D volumetric MRI scans for selected speech sounds for the mngu0 speaker
  2. Midsagittal scans for dynamic sequences of selected speech sounds in vowel contexts
  3. Reference audio recordings (these were acquired before, not during, the MRI session), with corresponding phonetic labelling
 
The MRI data are provided as a DICOM format CDROM image, which should be readable by just about any software intended for MRI viewing or manipulation.
